Porcelain Veneers: Your Complete Smile Solution

Young woman with beautiful smileDoes your smile have chips or cracks? Stains? Gaps? Crooked teeth?

Whether you have just one or all of these flaws, porcelain veneers can fix it. With just one treatment, we can completely revitalize your smile and give you any kind of look that you want. Each set is custom-made, and the only restriction is your imagination.

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are actually extremely thin ceramic coverings that are attached to the front of the teeth in order to enhance their appearance. They only take two appointments to get, and the entire process is completely painless.

At your first appointment, you’ll discuss with Dr. Flex or Dr. Hodge what you would like your final result to be. We encourage you to actually bring in pictures so we can get a better idea.

After that is decided, the procedure will start with your dentist gently removing a small portion of your enamel. This will create room for your new veneers. You’ll then have an impression taken, and this will be sent to a lab to fabricate your veneers. While this is happening, you’ll get a temporary set so that you can “test drive” your new smile.

When you return for your second appointment, your doctor will use a special bonding agent to place the veneers onto your teeth. After some slight final adjustments, you’re finished! You’ll be amazed at how much of a difference they can make for your overall appearance.
